Summer Learning Program 2019

The 2019 Summer Learning Program is for children, teens, and adults. This year's Summer Learning Program contains the theme 'A Universe of Stories'. Most weekly programs and activities will be based around this theme.

To register for our 2019 Summer Learning Program, please download, print out, fill out, and return this form to the library. Use this form for registering a child, teen, or adult. Forms are also available at the library. Participants must be registered to be eligible for incentives and the picnic at the end of the program. Contact the library with any questions or concerns.

For schedules, events, and changes, please call or check our Facebook page. Programs may be moved for bad weather, heavy winds, or as requested by the performer to protect their props.

Children's Summer Learning Program

A UNIVERSE OF STORIES: PASSPORT TO ADVENTURE

Each child in this year's summer learning program will receive an age appropriate passport containing all the information needed for them to complete the program. The focus of the passport will be a bingo card, with different tasks, events, and activities that the child can complete or attend, some of which will need to be accessed below in the "Children's SLP Online Activities" section. For every "bingo" (six squares crossed out, either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally) won, the child's name goes into a drawing for a grand prize. Winners will be chosen on the final day of the program at the finale on July 30th.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

All programs are held at Kandy Kane Park unless otherwise indicated by the library. Programs are every Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. from June 18 - July 30, with the exception of July 2, and although chosen to engage children, they will delight people of all ages. Alternative programs are available for participants to have more opportunities to meet summer learning program requirements. View the full list of Alternate Programs.
