We are looking for a part-time assistant librarian who enjoys music, reading, movies, and learning new things. This person will greet patrons, check materials in/out, shelve materials, enter data, assist the director in planning and organizing children's story hours and summer learning programs, and other tasks as assigned by the director. Candidates must demonstrate computer literacy and good customer skills. The starting wage is $7.25. Hours will include some evenings and Saturday mornings. High School degree/GED required. All presentations will be held on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. in Kandy Kane Park Pavilion. Registration for the reading contests and brochures for the presentations should be available by the end of April. We are looking for volunteers to lend a hand during the presentations and to help track the reading programs. If interested, please call the library and let us know. 715-652-2273
